Apple & Cinnamon Smoothie
This is a perfect quick, simple, healthy and really delicious smoothie recipe.
Rich in vitamins, minerals and in omega-3 fatty acids which provide you with a super- boost of energy for any time of your day.
Serves 2
Takes 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 400ml milk (dairy or plant based)
- ½ red type of apple
- ½ banana
- 1tbs oats (optional use gluten free)
- 1tbs mixed seeds
- 1tbs almond butter (or an alternative)
- 1tsp vanilla paste
- 1- 2 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1tbs sultanas
- 6 pecan nuts
Method
Blitz the milk, apple, banana, oats, mixed seeds, almond butter, vanilla paste, cinnamon powder, sultanas and pecan nuts powder in a blender.
Pour the smoothie into 2 350ml tumbler glasses.
To Serve
Simply Bitz and it’s ready to drink.
Tips
Great breakfast option. Especially for fussy kids in the morning.
Wrap the other ½ of banana in parchment paper to store in the freezer to use another time.

Ideally use organic food produce where possible.
Visit your local food suppliers or farmers market for fresh produce.
Consider the animal welfare when selecting fresh meat,poultry, eggs and dairy.
Select foods that are ethically sourced.
Ideally know the provenance.
Consider eating more sustainable foods.
